Fundraiser at Blush Cheltenham |
We would like to say a HUGE thank you to Stewart and the team at Blush nightclub in Cheltenham for their fantastic efforts. They managed to raise a whoping £300 in 1 night with their fundraiser.
There was a wheel of fortune where 3 lucky winners won either a bottle of Dom Perignon, a £25 bar tab and tickets to Cheltenham's very own 'Bloom' Festival.
The DJ for the night gave half of his wages to the cause, and they even invited the EGLR team (although now they are wondering why!!) You can see all of the pictures on the Evesham Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue Facebook page |

Waitrose update |
Thanks to Linda H for providing this information:
Just a quick one to let you know that the month has now come and gone at Waitrose. A donation of £211 will be winging its way towards Pip sometime soon - which is good news, especially as it comes quite separately to those from the lovely folks who dig into their own pockets. It's also good that there's now a big display at the front of Waitrose that shows which charities the Malvern branch has already supported. So ELGR will have a permanent spot up there soon too, and anyone perusing the donations will see the name of the charity!
Great news, and just in time for Ariel's and the other dogs needs too. |

Now with a lot of tender loving care she is ready to go to a forever home.
