Dear Angela, Pip and Liz,
 
Gosh christmas came around so fast!! I have been meaning to email you for an update on Sadie and have finally got around to it!
Sadie is doing fabulously, she now has bags of energy and tears around like a mad thing!

Her size and clumsiness (mainly standing on poor fuggle at every opportunity) has earnt her the nickname 'Scooby'. I thought I would give you the update on this special girl with her unusual original state and show you how proud we are of her and how beautiful she is now. I have contacted Rowan at Burns who kindly donated the food and she has passed it on in case they want to do a feature on her as 'thin-spiration'! So here is the short version! 
 
I had always wanted a sight hound and after I got married, I could finally get my way! We were told about 'Sadie'  rescued by EGLR on 3rd February an overweight (40.2kg!!!) lurcher with a loving personality. Well, my husband was not so keen to get another dog or drive for nearly 3 hours to look at one but when they met it was love at first sight! Sadie was besotted with him and there was no going back!! After we adopted her about a month later it took 12 weeks to get down to her goal weight of 30kg.

A good walk twice a day, coupled with the great food provided by Burns and a heart of steel and she has a new lease of life! She is a total daddy's girl and I barely get a look in for the cuddles on the sofa!

We are lucky enough to have our own business and Sadie and our other rescue terrier Fuggle come to work with us every day, its a hard life being brewery mascots! We absolutely adore her and I know it was a real wrench for Angela to let this girl go from her foster home, she is one of a kind and we really do feel so lucky to have such a loving and happy girl in our family.
