Max (formerly Maxamillion)

P1010162It’s now been six months since we travelled to Birmingham to meet Max at Becky’s home where we were given a very warm welcome by all the family and dogs too! Max soon stole our hearts and we brought him back to his new home in Norwich, Norfolk on 21st March 2009.

Max has settled in nicely and get on well with his housemate Jenga (a whippet/collie lurcher 6 months his elder and certainly the BOSS)! When they play together it can get very rough at times – for an outsider not too pleasant to watch – however, no injuries ever occur and there are always two waggy tails!
Since we’ve had Max he has been on a total of ten camping trips (mainly on the North Norfolk coast) including a week in Snowdonia where he made it to the top of Snowdon.

We think the sheep kept his interest !

He has become a very big part of our family and we couldn’t imagine life without him. He has so many funny ways and is a real cuddle monster. We also think he’s part kangaroo by the way he jumps up and down on the spot when we are playing with a ball or when he’s chasing squirrels in the local heath which he visits daily.

P1010131When we collected Max he was underweight and had been treated for fleas, his coat was thin and bare in places. We’re please to say he has a beautiful shiny thick coat now and looks a million dollars! Obviously everyone notices his ‘strange’ eyes and he’s a real looker!

Many thanks to all at EGLR including Becky and her family for all the help before, during and after adopting Max.

Best regards Jakki & Steve xx
