Poppy was one of Amber's puppies that was fostered by Vicky from Hereford.
We adopted her in February and changed her name from Fat Mabel [yuk] to Poppy. You called her that because she so liked her food and still does, but you can tell that she is not fat in anyway.

Hi, I was just looking at the EGLR website and thought I'd like to send in an update on my 2 ELGR lurchers.

Hello
We thought you would like a update on Summer who has been with us for 7 months now. She is still a bit timid but gaining confidence every day. She also can tell the time, and finds Steve to remind him its time for her 5 o'clock walk, and where he has to look for her lead.

Hi everyone at EGLR.
I’d just like to send a quick note to say that I am now happily settled in my new home.
My transformation from ‘terrified shadow’ to ‘cheeky monkey’ took a little while to get going, but is now well under way.

Hi guys,
Just a quick note to let you all know how I'm settling in with my new owners.
The first 24 hours I was very nervous as it was all new and I had to go in the car on a long drive but Blue, their other dog, looked after me and let me know it was ok.

Having been without a lurcher in the house for 8 years after our bedlington/whippet cross lurcher died, the lovely Lombard (formerly Noah) came to us on 30th December 09, and has made himself very much at home and part of the family.
