Aslan has now recovered fully from his surgery and is now enjoying a whole new life. He has moved into a trial home where he has settled in well. We are all keeping our fingers crossed that he will soon be a permanent fixture there and we will be soon able to update you with some pictures of him in his new forever home.

We have some very sad news to update you with on Aslan. Unfortunately the healing process did not go as planned, and on January 10 th a decision was made by the vet that the leg would have to be amputated. This decision was not taken lightly but we felt this was the only option for him to live a happy and pain-free life. He made it through the very long and difficult surgery and came home on Saturday - which he was very happy about. Aslan is coping well and has even managed to go outside for a short time between rain showers for a bit of fresh air. He has been as brave as he could be through his ordeal and is coping well. We are all praying that the healing process will be quick and that he will be soon be ready to start a whole new life.
